PCA is a non-profit, member-funded association. Membership fees fund the platform, standards work and community. PCA does not distribute profits; funding goes back into the platform, standards work and community.

Service access
Membership and services are two separate choices.
PCA offers open services for everyone, member-only participation, and annual licences for organizations that need to create, govern or publish content.

- For non-commercial organizations and commercial users, PCA Govern is limited to their own content hosted through PCA Host. Participation in governance of shared PCA community content requires membership.
- Price guaranteed given fulfillment of PCA Host Content Requirements. Covers setup and host of a well-formed OWL-ontology in PCA's default service setup within 3 business days. Setup within one's own namespace incurs an additional cost, priced on a case-basis, normally delivered within 2 weeks from approved order.
