Definition
An object is an <ALGEBRAIC RING> if and only if: it is an <ABELIAN GROUP> (S, +, e); it has a binary relationship *, called the multiplicative relationship, from S×S to S as defined in ISO 15926 Part 3 Section 4.2.2.5
