ATOMIC NUMBER
Definition
An <ATOMIC NUMBER> is an <IDENTIFICATION NUMBER> that idenfies the order of an element in the periodic (Mendeleev) chemical classification, and identified with the number of unit positive charges in the nucleus (idependent of the associated neutrons). Equal to the number of external electrons in the neutral state of the atom, and determines its chemistry
