Definition
A <BACK-TO-BACK COMPRESSOR> is a <CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR> divided in a low pressure and high pressure stage, where the compressor impellers in the two stages are facing different ends of the common shaft to eliminate the thrust force.
