BALL VALVE
Definition
A <BALL VALVE> is a <ROTARY VALVE> which uses a hollow, perforated or pivoting ball, of either "floating" design or "trunnion" mounted design to provide fluid flow control. The open position is when the ball hole is in line with the flow and closed when it is pivoted 90-degrees by the stem operator
