A <BLADDER ACCUMULATOR> is an <ARTEFACT> and a <HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATOR> that consists of an elastic bladder mounted inside a steel bottle. The bladder is pressurized with a gas, typically nitrogen. When the hydraulic liquid enters the accumulator the bladder is compressed and surrounded by the liquid
