A <CANONICALLY PARAMETERISED TOPOLOGICAL QUADRILATERAL> is a <CANONICALLY PARAMETERISED TOPOLOGICAL PRIMITIVE> and a <MANIFOLD 2D>; it has four boundary edges; it has four corners with parametric positions (0,0, 0.0), (1,0, 0.0), (1.0, 1.0), and (0,0, 1.0); the domain of parameterization is all pairs of reals (ξ,η) as defined in ISO 15926 Part 3 Section 4.8.3.5
