Definition
A <CARBON STEEL> is a <STEEL> whose properties are determined primarily by the percentage of Carbon present. Besides Iron and Carbon, the steel may contain Manganese up to 1.65% and residual quantities of other elements, except those intentionally added in specific quantities for deoxidation (usually Silicon and/or Aluminium)
