FOUR LOBE PUMP
Definition
A <FOUR LOBE PUMP> is a <LOBE PUMP> that essentially operates similar to external gear pumps, however with higher degree of pulsation (lower then three lobe). The rotors must be driven independently; a small clearance is maintained between lobe surfaces.
