Definition
An <INSTRUMENT AIR SYSTEM> is a <PLANT AIR SYSTEM> that can deliver clean, dust- and oilfree pressurized air for pneumatic control systems, loops and actuator / motors. For purge protection of electrical installations in hazardious areas, instrument air is also generally preferred.
