MINIMUM DESIGN METAL TEMPERATURE

Definition A <MINIMUM DESIGN METAL TEMPERATURE> (MDMT) is an <IndirectProperty> that is a design condition for pressure vessel engineering calculations, design and manufacturing according to the ASME Boilers and Pressure Vessels Code. It must be lower than or equal to the <CRITICAL EXPOSURE TEMPERATURE>, and must be higher than or equal to the <MINIMUM DESIGN METAL TEMPERATURE - METALLURGY>
