MOLAR FLOW RATE

Definition A <MOLAR FLOW RATE> is a <FLOW RATE> that is a measure of the number of moles of a substance passing through a given point in a system per unit of time. It quantifies the rate at which a particular chemical species is flowing through a process or a defined area. It is calculated by multiplying the <VOLUME FLOW RATE> of the substance by its <MOLAR CONCENTRATION> at that point in the system
