Definition
A <PARTIAL PRESSURE OF SUBSTANCE B>, for a gaseous mixture, is the notional <PRESSURE> of the gas referred to as <SUBSTANCE B> if it alone occupied the entire volume of the original mixture at the same temperature. In ISO 80000 part 9-19 It is calculated as p_B = x_B.p where p is the total <PRESSURE> and x_B the amount-of-substance fraction of <SUBSTANCE B>. Defined in ISO 80000-9 (2009) 9-19
