A <REDUCED BORE TRUNNION BALL VALVE> is a <TRUNNION BALL VALVE> and a <REDUCED BORE BALL VALVE> where the ball closure member is supported by a trunnion and where the opening of the closure member is too small to allow a sphere of a given size to pass through the closure member. (Diameter of the bore is reduced to the pipe bore)
