SHADED POLE MOTOR
Definition
A <SHADED POLE MOTOR> is an <INDUCTION MOTOR> and a <SINGLE-PHASE MACHINE> having one or more auxiliary short-circuited windings displaced in magnetic position from the main winding, all these windings being on the primary core, usually the stator.
