Definition
A <STANTON NUMBER> is a <Property> that is a dimensionless number that is a measure of the <RATIO> of heat transferred into a fluid to the thermal capacity of that fluid. It is used to characterize heat transfer in forced convection flows. It is calaculated as: St = K/(rho.v.c_p) where K is <HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT> , rho is <MASS DENSITY>, v is speed and c_p is<SPECIFIC HEAT CAPACITY AT CONSTANT PRESSURE>
