Definition
A <TERRESTRIAL LATITUDE> is an <ANGLE> that is a measure of the distance of an observer north or south of the equator. The latitude north or south of the equator is measured in degrees, and is equal to the angle between a point on the equator, the center of the earth, and the location of the observer
