Definition
A <VANE PUMP> is a <ROTARY PUMP> that contains a vane or vanes which may be in the form of blades, buckets, rollers or slippers, cooperating with a cam to draw liquid into and force it out of <PUMP> chamber. The vanes can be located either in the stator or rotor.
