Definition
A <VOLUME FLOW MEASURING ELEMENT - VENTURI TUBE> is a <VOLUME FLOW MEASURING ELEMENT - DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE> that constricts the flow using a <VENTURI>, and pressure sensors measure the differential pressure before and within the constriction. This method is widely used to measure <VOLUME FLOW RATE> in the transmission of gas through pipelines
