Definition
A <VOLUTE TYPE CASING> is a <PUMP CASING> which has a spiral-shape and surrounds a pump impeller and includes an outlet channel, that is gradually increasing the cross-sectional arean of flow, to convert parts of the kinetic energy of the liquid into pressure energy.
