IDO is an anthropocentric ontology in the sense that it disregards complexities of the deep theories of the physical sciences that have only negligible impact at the standard industrial scale. For example, this means ignoring cosmological effects on the average industry and adopting a geocentric model of the universe where there exists a commonly agreed upon stationary earthly “spatial reference system”.
